The Chinese garment industry has been growing rapidly and realising a valuable opportunity to strengthen and gain new supplier relationships, Tradegood contacted artpac to help design, conceptualise and print a lookbook which attractively featured their garment suppliers’ clothing to promote them in the best way possible.
Lookbooks have become more and more popular, and they help buyers from shops and boutiques select which garments to buy. Tradegood’s goal with their lookbook was to support their suppliers by showing off the very best and in turn, increase the sales of their suppliers by influencing the buying decisions of buyers.
To create a good lookbook, you need good images.
We needed to cast models and match each garment to each model. We also had to make sure that the makeup artist, photographers, production team and lighting crew were all in place so the shoot could go smoothly.
Furthermore, because Tradegood has connections with so many different garment suppliers, we had to coordinate with all of them to ensure that all garments arrived for photo shoots on time.
We carefully planned and picked the studio and props for the photo shoot. The selection of the studio was important because it needed to fit exactly what the photographer needed in order to get the perfect shots.
During the shoot, we made sure that everything was perfect, from hair, to makeup to expressions. We needed to make sure that each picture served one purpose: to make each piece of clothes look the best it could be. If one pose didn’t flatter the outfit, we would change it until it did. In the end our need for perfection helped to create stunning images.
After the shoot, our in-house designers laid out the lookbook in a modern, contemporary style that was clean, modern, and eye-catching.
After that, we printed the catalogue in-house in our production division to ensure the highest quality for out client. When it was released, the lookbook was a great hit and received many positive comments from buyers and suppliers alike.
